New Venture and New Avenues in Life

So much in my life has changed, and yet I can only see the Good God has in store for me. Changed jobs, left a field that I spent most of my adult life working in. It was scary yet so overdue. I spent the days before in prayer. God was making in clear it was a needed change. I went from driving over an hour each way, to a commute that is 4 traffic lights from the house. I love that I am able to turn off at the end of the day and that work does not call me. I can be fully present to my family and for the ministry work God has placed me in. 

Being able to have a pretty set schedule is amazing. Being able to turn off, and to not stress about anything work related is amazing. The fact that I am on my feet and moving which as caused me to drop some weight has been at definite plus also...plus I work in the toy dept. so I get to see all the toys (and somehow I know most of them pretty well...so I can really support customers when they are looking for that perfect gift). 

I also have started working as an independent consultant for Rodan and Fields. I firmly believe that you have to be able to stand behind what you sell and what you say, and I have seen such amazing results from these products, both personally and on others. I have never been one who loves my own face (which my family seems to get mad at me for) but I have to admit I might like it a bit more. Doing sales is intimidating and can be frustrating when nothing materializes, but I  trust in God's plan and I know that I just need to do all I do to his glory and it will all work out.

I have not yet tried this one but it is in my list. I have lashes that are not the best (thank you Chicken pox!) and I know this is on my personal bucket list

#LoveTheSkinYourIn is my new tag line. I think it is so important that we as women (and the men we love too) love the skin we are in. God gave us this skin, this life and this world to live in and we should treat it as a gift.
